Applaws
Applaws has a goal to provide the greatest pet food possible. With mutual love for their pets, the clients from Applaws set out to find someone who might help them realize their pet food idea and ended up at a human food supplier, where they discovered the solution. They found the food produced with the best, most ethically sourced ingredients possible.

Project Overview
The problem this website is trying to solve is to offer high-quality ingredients that are similar to the pet’s natural diet with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives added or hidden. They wanted to offer real foods supplied with the greatest ethical standards.

Applaws wished to develop the website that would assist them to go above and beyond industry standards to create an optimistic impact in the world with their ethical sourcing of the ingredients to create the best pet food. EB Pearls studied the researched data collected from different groups of people relevant for this project. After analyzing the data, we came to a conclusion that customers are greatly in need of a website to reach out to the people to promote their best products.
Discovery
Thousands of apps are striving right now to be the most distinctive and amazing. In that sense, it was difficult to make Applaws stand out. During the website development process, the project was broken down into small parts because the agile software development process was used, allowing the team to focus on collaboration and testing for high-quality development.
User Experience
When creating the user experience and design for Applaws, it was important for our team to understand the vision of the Applaws team, and understand the mindset that users will be in when using the website. This would allow us to create something that appeals to not only Applaws, but also the website’s target audience. We also had to ensure that the website rendered in an appealing way on mobile screens and tablets in order to maximize new users.
We did internal testing to get feedback and improve further. We focused on having easy navigation to reach the desired pages, as well as prioritizing the uniformity of the screens.

Cats/ Dogs Products
With the easy navigation and simple design features, user can click on either Cat or Dog and look into varios products with no fillers but just ethically sourced, natural ingredients.
Cat guides/ Dog Guides
Users can easily navigate through cat guides and dog guides from the home page and look for information on feeding, exercise, grooming and care and more.
Retrospective
EB Pearls was able to work with Applaws to create a website that satisfied all of its needs, as well as the needs of the website’s users. EB Pearls’ team created an excellent user experience and design, using features such as standout images and iconography, to draw in users and push them to use the Applaws platform.
