Discovery

Like all our other projects, we started with a structured conversation in the form of a project kick-off workshop. As a team, we worked with News Corp Australia to gain an understanding of their requirements so that the project was well informed. In a series of engagements, participatory co-design workshops, and feedback sessions, we collaborated with News Corp Australia to develop and refine the key concepts for the website.

Through this collaborative approach, we were able to swiftly validate ideas using prototypes and assured that the needs of News Corp users were fulfilled. The collaborative approach manifested as a website with a flowing user experience, allowing brands to easily post market-specific content across multiple media formats to their specific target audiences.

User Experience and Design

Design

Design Sprint

Design Sprint

The Design Sprint proceeded with a list of things to do in a specific order and with set deadlines. With the fixed deadlines, a time pressure was created among the team to get things done. The wireframe was done in three rounds. Once three rounds were approved we started the design which was also done in three rounds.

We had to ensure that the website rendered in an appealing way on mobile screens and tablets, in order to maximize new users.

Internal Testing

Internal Testing

Internal Testing was done to get feedback and improve further. After the initial testing, the most important thing we kept on our mind was easy navigation to reach the desired screen, as well as uniformity in the screens.

Development sprint

Sprint planning

The scrum team followed the requirements of the specific sprint once the Product Owner described the objectives of backlog and sprint. In addition, the development team planned the essential tasks needed to meet the sprint goal. The team discussed in more detail about how they can deliver the selected product backlog items.

Unique Features

  • Easy navigation: Users can easily select the required button such as Home, Ad Specs, Audiences, Brands, Insights. If the user is looking for the Brands Tab once they click on the Brand button they will be directed to the screen with the list of brands. Users can also easily use Brand Filter.
  • About News: With a clean design and more white space, users can easily look for Latest News, News in the Community, Careers, and more that focus on the interests of the audiences, investors, and customers.
