Premium hospitality businesses where the website is a revenue decision.

crown-simple

Boutique & luxury hotels

Independent hotels and small groups where the website is the primary channel for direct bookings and where losing a guest to OTA commission because the website didn't convert is a real, recurring cost.

calendar-check

Destination venues & event spaces

Wedding venues, corporate retreat properties, and function centres where the website has to sell an experience not just list a price and where the enquiry form is the beginning of a high-value sales conversation.

Estate & regional hospitality brands

Properties with multiple revenue streams accommodation, dining, events, retail where the digital presence has to present each offer clearly without diluting the overall brand or confusing the guest journey.
stack

Hospitality groups managing multiple venues

Operators running several properties or brands who need each venue's digital presence to be distinctive and conversion-focused while fitting into a group digital architecture that's maintainable without a large internal team.

What hospitality operators actually worry about when investing in digital

Hospitality owners have specific frustrations with digital agencies most of whom have never worked in the industry and don't understand the connection between a website and a booking. These conversations happen in every first call.
camera

"We have beautiful photography but the website doesn't do it justice. Guests tell us it looked better in person."

Great hospitality photography adds immense value, but poor presentation cropping, slow loading, or weak layout can significantly undermine the property’s brand perception.
We design around photography from the start, ensuring image treatment, layout, and performance all work together to enhance the visual experience.

"Our booking system is clunky and we lose guests halfway through the process. We can see it in the drop-off data."

Booking friction directly leads to lost revenue. Every unnecessary step, delay, or confusing interface increases abandonment rates in hospitality booking flows.
We focus on simplifying the full journey from discovery to confirmation by removing friction points and improving flow clarity.

"We're paying 15–18% OTA commission on bookings we should be getting direct. The website isn't pulling its weight."

OTA commissions are a significant cost that increases with every booking not made directly. If the website doesn't compete with OTAs on clarity and ease, guests default to third-party platforms.
We design websites to prioritise direct bookings through trust, clarity, and reduced friction.

"Our current website requires a developer to update anything. We can't even change our menu or add a new package ourselves."

Hospitality teams need to update content frequently, and relying on developers for simple changes slows operations and creates inefficiency.

We build CMS systems that allow non-technical teams to manage updates quickly and independently.

"Half our traffic is mobile but the site looks like it was designed for desktop. The booking experience on phone is terrible."

Mobile traffic drives high-intent hospitality bookings, and poor mobile user experience directly results in lost reservations and decreased revenue.

We design mobile-first experiences to ensure booking flows are smooth, fast, and usable on all devices.

"We have multiple venues or revenue streams and the website tries to serve everyone at once and ends up serving nobody well."

When multiple audiences share one website, unclear structure leads to confusion and weaker conversions across all segments.

We create clear navigation and UX pathways so each guest type finds the right experience without friction.

Hospitality websites fail for specific reasons.

Most hospitality websites look beautiful but ignore booking logic, conversions, and mobile usability, prioritising awards over actual guest reservations.

A hospitality website is a revenue instrument first and a brand expression second. Premium property design must impress guests quickly while guiding them smoothly from interest to booking—both achievable with thoughtful design.

We’ve designed for boutique hotels, wedding venues, event spaces, and estates—each with unique guest journeys, booking behaviours, and content needs. That experience means we recognise your specific situation before you have to explain it.

Conversion is the brief, not a side effect

Direct booking rate, enquiry volume, and OTA displacement are the metrics we design towards. Visual excellence is required — but it's in service of revenue, not independent of it.

Photography-first design

Premium hospitality photography is an asset worth tens of thousands of dollars. We design around it — ensuring it loads fast, displays correctly across all devices, and creates the emotional response that precedes a booking decision.
wrench

CMS built for hospitality operations

Menu changes, seasonal packages, event listings, room availability — your team should be able to handle all of it without calling a developer. We build CMS interfaces around your actual content update patterns.

Hospitality Website Design & Digital for Hotels & Venues

EB Pearls builds websites and digital platforms for premium Australian hospitality businesses from luxury hotel groups and destination wedding venues to multi-venue Sydney function spaces and regional estate properties. ISO 27001 certified. 20 years in market. Trusted by Bannisters Hotels, The  Doltone House, and Bendooley Estate Larder.

Hospitality digital is a revenue instrument, not a marketing exercise. Direct booking rate, enquiry conversion, OTA displacement, and mobile booking experience are the metrics that matter and they're all addressable through the right digital design.

Questions hospitality operatorsalways eventually ask

We'd rather answer these upfront than have them surface mid-project.

Integration mapping is part of Discovery. We identify your existing booking engine, reservation system, or property management system and assess the integration options before the build starts. In many cases we can integrate directly; in others we can design around your system to minimise friction at the booking step. We'll give you an honest assessment of what's possible and what the trade-offs are before any commitment is made.

That's a core requirement we design for, not an add-on. During Discovery we map exactly what your team needs to update regularly — menus, packages, room rates, event listings, availability messaging — and build the CMS interface around those specific use cases. We also provide CMS training at handover. The goal is a website your team can operate independently, with developer support only when something genuinely requires it.

Discovery typically runs 3–4 weeks. A well-scoped hospitality website — single property, standard booking integration, content migration — typically runs 8–12 weeks from build start to launch. Multi-property or complex integration projects sit at the higher end. The Discovery output gives you a precise timeline and cost for your specific brief — not a range designed to get you started.

Photography treatment is a design constraint from the first wireframe — not an optimisation added at the end. We work with your photography library during Discovery to understand the asset quality and volume, then design page layouts and image handling that showcase it properly at full resolution while maintaining the page performance needed for a good booking experience. Slow-loading photography-heavy pages are one of the most common hospitality website failures and one of the most addressable.

Yes — if it's architected correctly from the start. The failure mode is a website that tries to be everything to everyone and ends up being nothing to anyone. We map each distinct guest type and their decision journey in Discovery, then design navigation and content architecture that routes each of them clearly without making the site feel like a portal. Bannisters Hotels, The Jackson Ranch, and Doltone House are all examples of multi-experience hospitality presences we've built that serve multiple guest types well.

30–45 minutes. No pitch deck. We ask about your property, your current website, your booking patterns, and where the biggest gap is between what your digital presence is doing and what it should be doing. You ask whatever you want. By the end you'll know whether we're the right fit. If we're not, we'll tell you that too.
