Software isn't finished when it launches. It's finished when the business no longer needs to think about it.

Most agencies measure success at launch. We measure it differently. Built to Last™ is the framework we apply to every project — not as a premium tier, not as an optional upgrade. As the standard. It's six pillars, applied from the first discovery session through the 90-day post-launch plan. Together they're the difference between an app that ships and an app that holds up.

01

The Right Problem

The most expensive mistake in software isn't technical — it's six months of excellent work delivered to the wrong outcome. Before a line of code is written, we map the real problem.

02

The Right Infrastructure

Products that perform in testing and fail under real users. Infrastructure isn't a launch concern — it's what determines whether your product holds up at 10x. Designed in, not bolted on.

03

The Right Architecture

Decisions made in week 2 determine what's possible in year 2. Data models, APIs, integration patterns — and RAG pipelines, agent boundaries, AI infrastructure — planned from day one.

04

The Right Delivery

Two-week sprints with a working build at the end of every cycle. Weekly check-ins. Fortnightly demos. Monthly progress reports with budget visibility. Quarterly strategic reviews.

05

The Right Code

Every line reviewed and signed off by a senior engineer. Automated testing, CI/CD, and consistent engineering standards applied to AI features the same way as core product code.

06

The Right Team

200+ in-house specialists, no subcontracting. The team on your project is on our payroll. Senior Account Manager, UX Designer, Engineering Lead — assigned week 1, still there at 90-day review.

The Discovery phase saved us from making expensive mistakes that we didn't even realise were there. It challenged some of our early assumptions and gave us a much stronger foundation before development started.

- Laura Smith · News Corp Australia

Can AI just build your app?

Honestly — parts of it, yes. We use AI tools on every project. Here's what that actually means for yours, and where senior engineering judgment still matters more than any model can replace.

What AI still can't do

Decide how your architecture should scale to 100K users
Make security and compliance judgements for your industry
Manage a project, a client relationship, or a missed deadline
Own the outcome when something fails after launch
Replace the engineer who designed the system and understands why

Where AI actually helps.

Generates boilerplate code in minutes, not days
Accelerates test coverage across the codebase
Automates documentation as the build progresses
Helps engineers ship faster without cutting corners
Identifies bugs and edge cases during development

The honest truth

AI tools make experienced developers faster. They don't replace the judgment, architecture decisions, and accountability that determine whether your platform survives contact with real users at scale.

Built into Right Code and Right Team — two pillars of the Built to Last™ framework.

What it's actually like to build with us.

QuoteUp

Three starting points. One process that adapts.

Every team is at a different point. The 30-minute call goes differently depending on yours.

01 · Launch

I'm building something new

Idea or validated concept. Need a team to design, build, and launch right.

You have an idea, a vision, or a validated concept. You need a team to design, build, and launch — with foundations that won't need to be rebuilt in 12 months.

On the call: we'll walk through your concept, identify the riskiest assumptions, and outline the path from idea to first 5,000 users.

02 · Scale

I have an app that needs help

Live, but getting harder to release. Changes feel riskier than they should.

Your platform is already live but getting harder to release, slower to scale, and every change feels riskier. You don't always need a rebuild — you need a team that can diagnose what's actually wrong.

On the call: we'll diagnose the symptoms, identify what's structural vs surface, and outline a remediation roadma

03 · Evolve

I'm ready to lead my market

Platform stable. Ready to use AI and automation to pull ahead.

Your platform is stable. You're ready to use AI and automation to operate more efficiently, capture data advantages, and pull ahead of competitors.

On the call: we'll map your workflows and data landscape against AI opportunities — and tell you where the ROI sits.

For risk-averse buyers

Not ready to commit to the full build? Start with the Prototyping Phase.

For founders and product leaders who want to de-risk before signing for the full project. Over 3–6 weeks we map your users, design the product in Figma, plan the technical architecture, and produce investor-ready documentation.

Book a Free Discovery Call

30-minute call. 48-hour proposal. No guesswork.

Most agencies send a vague proposal two weeks later. Here's what actually happens with us.

Step 01 · The Call

A 30-minute working session

A senior strategist — not a sales rep — walks through your project. We'll cover your users, your priorities, the trade-offs you're facing, and the questions that will change the price. No pitch deck, no demo reel of our case studies.
Step 02 · The Proposal

Itemised, fixed-fee, in 48 hours

Inside two business days, you receive a detailed proposal: itemised scope, fixed-fee structure, timeline, team composition, and where the risks sit. Built from 900+ real projects mapped against the Built to Last™ framework.
Step 03 · Your Decision

Proceed, prototype, or pass

If you proceed, we move to the Prototyping Phase (if scope needs validation) or directly to discovery. If you don't, you keep the proposal — and a real benchmark for the conversations you're having with other vendors.

Six pillars sound abstract until you see what they produce.

Real outcomes from real clients. Each one ties back to the pillars that made it possible.

You'll always know where things stand.

The most common frustration teams have is not knowing what's happening. We prevent that with a consistent communication cadence built into every engagement.

I came in with the idea, but had no technical background. Their team explained things clearly, gave honest advice, and helped me understand what was worth investing in first. I was expecting it to be intimidating, but I never felt overwhelmed or talked down to.

- Chris Richardson · Beforepay

The questions shortlisters actually ask.

It's higher. We're an Australian team, working in your timezone, with senior engineers — not subcontracted developers we've never met. Most of our rescue work comes from offshore builds that stalled. If price is the deciding factor, offshore always wins. If your project needs to launch and last, the gap is smaller than it looks.

For well-scoped projects, yes. Fixed price requires a completed discovery phase so both sides have confidence in the scope. For projects with significant unknowns, time-and-materials with milestone checkpoints usually protects you better than an artificially padded fixed quote.

Yes. Full stop. All IP, source code, design files, and documentation transfer to you on final payment. We don't retain licensing rights or hold code in escrow. Our contracts are reviewed by independent legal counsel before signing. If any agency won't commit to this in writing before you sign anything, that's a serious red flag. Walk away.

Not very. We've had great discovery calls from a one-page summary and bad ones from a 50-page spec that missed the core user problem. Come with your business context, your audience, and a sense of what success looks like. We'll ask the right questions from there.

No. We have 200+ in-house specialists. The team on your project is on our payroll. No subcontracting on development, design, or QA.

30 days minimum post-launch support is included with every project. 90 days for Growth tier. Ongoing for Enterprise. We use AI-assisted monitoring to detect performance anomalies and error spikes — so your team hears about issues from us, not from users.

$50K and above. Below that, you'd be better served by a smaller boutique team — we'll point you to one on the call if that's where your project sits.

Yes. We regularly take over projects with existing Figma files, technical specs, or partially completed builds. We'll review what you have, tell you honestly what's worth keeping, and scope from there.
