We don't start building until SEO architecture is documented and approved — before a line of code is written. URL structure, schema markup, canonical tags, sitemap, Core Web Vitals targets, and Google Search Console configuration are all delivery requirements, not afterthoughts. For rebuilds, we produce a complete 301 redirect map covering every existing URL before development begins. One client found their previous agency had implemented 47 redirect chains that were causing crawl budget waste — we caught that in the audit phase. We prevent it by design. The 90-day post-launch window includes Search Console monitoring specifically to catch any indexing issues before they compound.

Yes — but only if it's planned properly before the build starts. Every rebuild includes a full SEO migration plan: a complete URL audit, 301 redirect map for every URL that exists, metadata transfer, structured data setup, and 90-day Search Console monitoring after launch. Ranking drops after rebuilds are almost always caused by missing or incorrect redirects — not the rebuild itself. We've migrated sites from Magento, OpenCart, BigCommerce, Squarespace, and custom platforms without ranking loss. We've also rescued several sites where a previous agency ignored the redirect plan entirely.

We work in two-week sprints with a documented change control process. If scope changes — and on real projects something always does — we assess the impact on cost and timeline before proceeding, not after. You'll never discover a change has cost you an extra $15K at invoice time. Changes are logged, priced, and approved in writing before any work begins. What we scope is what you pay. The only exception is genuine defects in our work — those are fixed at our cost, not yours.
