You'll know your exact investment before you commit to anything.

Most agencies won't give you a real number until you're already in their sales process. We think that's backwards. One conversation with us produces a detailed, itemised, fixed-fee proposal — built from 900+ real projects and 20 years of delivery data. No guesswork. No bait-and-switch.

How Our Pricing Works

Our pricing is based on the scope and complexity of what needs to be built, mapped against our Built to Last™ framework across six disciplines: problem, infrastructure, architecture, delivery, code, and team.

One conversation with us produces a detailed, itemised, fixed-fee proposal within 48 hours — built from 900+ real projects delivered over 20 years.

Once you're ready to proceed, our prototyping phase validates and locks in the scope. From there, you choose a delivery model: Fixed Cost for clearly defined projects, or a Team as a service model for ongoing development and long-term partnerships. Both are delivered under ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards.

What Determines Your Investment

Six variables move the number. Understanding them helps you size your project before we speak.
icons8-laptop-and-phone-1-1-1

Platform scope

iOS, Android, or both. Cross-platform (React Native) reduces cost; native increases it. Dual-platform adds 40–60% to build time.
icons8-kubernetes-1

Backend complexity

Real-time features, payment processing, third-party integrations, and complex data models each add significant engineering scope.
icons8-user-groups-1-1-2

Number of user roles

Each distinct user type: customer, vendor, admin, driver, etc., requires separate flows and interfaces. Three roles can double the scope.
icons8-cyber-security-1-1

Security & compliance

Healthcare (HIPAA), finance (PCI-DSS), and government work require additional architecture and testing. Adds $20K–$80K to base builds.

AI & advanced features

LLM integrations, recommendation engines, and computer vision add build time and ongoing infrastructure cost. See AI add-on ranges below.
icons-customer-insight

Post-launch support

Maintenance retainers, Delivery Squad contracts, and SLA commitments sit outside the initial build. Budget 15–25% of build cost annually.

Prototyping phase

Before a single line of code is written, the prototyping phase validates your scope, locks in your proposal, and produces a complete product blueprint.
Prototyping Phase

Everything you needto build with confidence

Over 3–6 weeks, we map your users, design the full product in Figma Or use AI tools to map out the prototype, plan the technical architecture, and produce investor-ready documentation. The prototyping phase doesn't produce the price — you already have that from your first call. Prototyping makes the price stick.

MYBOS — Building Platform

Which package is right for you?

If you're not sure where you fit, start here.

If you have a concept and want to validate it fast, start with MVP & Launch. One platform, tight scope, real architecture. The fastest path from idea to users in the market.

If you have traction and need to scale it properly,  Growth & Scale  is what most of our clients build. It's the tier where we spend most of our time and where most of the 900+ projects in our database live.

If you're a larger organisation with complex requirements and need a team that stays,  Enterprise & Evolve  is built for that. We'll scope the right approach in Discovery.

Not sure? One conversation and we'll tell you exactly where you fit. No commitment required!

Why you'll see quotes for $10,000–$30,000 elsewhere?

Offshore and freelance quotes at this level can look appealing. But they're typically hiding real costs that surface only after you've committed six months of your time and budget. Here's what a low-cost quote usually leaves out:

  • No architecture documentation
  • No test coverage with QA skipped altogether
  • No scalable infrastructure
  • A weak handover
  • Zero post-launch support commitment
  • Rushed delivery with hidden trade-offs

Add-On Services

Not bundled by default. Added based on what your project actually needs, scoped and priced transparently before any work begins.
Optional Services Description Typical investment (AUD)
AI Feature Development Production-ready AI integration — LLM connections, recommendation engines, computer vision, predictive analytics. Every AI feature built to work reliably in production, not just in demos. Requires Discovery to scope properly.
Requires Discovery$15K – $120K
Branding & Design System Brand identity and a UI component library that keeps your app visually consistent as it grows, from logo through to reusable design tokens your team can maintain.
Scoped to brief$2K - $5K
DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure CI/CD pipeline, containerisation, auto-scaling, and monitoring configured from day one. Built so your team can operate it independently.
One-time setup$4K – $15K
Ongoing Maintenance Bug fixes, OS updates, dependency management, security patches, and performance monitoring. SLA-backed with clearly documented response commitments.
SLA-backedFrom $400 per month
QA & Performance Testing Dedicated QA, load testing, security testing, and accessibility audits delivered as a focused workstream alongside or after the main build.
Per engagement$5K – $15K

Beyond Our Fees

Budget for these from day one. The build is the start, not the finish line.

What running an app actually costs

  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) typically runs $200–$2,000/month depending on traffic and scale.

  • Third-party services — Stripe, Twilio, push notifications, analytics — add $200–$1,500/month at real user volumes.

  • App Store fees are $149/year (Apple Developer Program) and a $25 one-time fee (Google Play)

You'll also need internal ownership — plan for 10–20% of a product owner's time during the build, and ongoing involvement post-launch for roadmap decisions and feedback loops.

Frequently Asked Questions

Honest answers to what we hear most from founders, product leads, and procurement teams before they reach out.

The honest range is $50,000 to $500,000+, depending on complexity. Simple single-platform MVPs run $50K–$120K. Full multi-platform products with complex backends run $120K–$300K. Enterprise platforms with dedicated squads start at $300K. These numbers assume quality architecture, proper QA, and post-launch support — the things cheaper quotes typically skip. Many founders who start with a $30K offshore quote end up rebuilding at 3–4× that cost 12–18 months later.

The free proposal gives you a real, accurate number. Prototyping locks that number in by validating the scope. Over 3–6 weeks, we design the full product in Figma or AI tool, map every user journey, plan the technical architecture, and produce investor-ready documentation. If requirements shift during Prototyping, the quote updates transparently. If they don't — which is most of the time — the number holds exactly.

Roadmap takes 3–6 weeks. MVP builds typically run 3–5 months. Full multi-platform products take 4–9 months. Enterprise projects run 6–18+ months on a rolling roadmap. These timelines assume a clear scope coming out of Prototype — projects that skip proper scoping almost always run over time and budget, regardless of who builds them.

Very. We've delivered 900+ products over 20 years and maintain a proprietary database of every task, tool, and time investment across those projects. When you describe your product, we match it against real delivery history — not rules of thumb. Every proposal includes a 20% contingency buffer. In practice, without scope changes, our quotes move less than 5%. You'll know your number before committing to anything.

Fixed Cost suits well-defined projects with a clear scope — you agree on features and price upfront, and we deliver to that agreement. Delivery Squad is a monthly retainer of dedicated engineers, QA, and a Business Analyst — better suited for ongoing product development, post-launch scaling, or enterprise teams that need a long-term engineering partner. Most MVP and Growth projects start on Fixed Cost. Most Enterprise engagements move to the Delivery Squad.

Sometimes. We conduct a technical due diligence review before agreeing to take over any existing product. If the codebase is salvageable, we'll scope an audit and improvement plan. If it has fundamental architecture problems — which is common with low-cost builds — we'll tell you honestly. Often, the most cost-effective path is a structured rebuild rather than patching a broken foundation, but we make that call with real data, not to win more work.
