Must Have:
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (Team Lead, Project Lead, Project Manager etc.)
- Proven experience leading software development teams and delivering projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and software delivery processes.
- Good communication skills with experience interacting with clients or stakeholders.
Good to Have:
- Additional relevant certifications or training in leadership or project management
- Prior experience in the scope of an engineering/project management.

Project Ownership & Delivery: Lead end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring timelines, scope, budget, and quality are met, aligned with business goals.
- Technical Direction & Architecture Ownership: Provide high-level solution design and technical direction for assigned projects, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and efficient architecture.
- Business-to-Technical Translation: Translate client and business objectives into actionable technical strategies for maximum impact.
- Innovation Drive: Identify opportunities to enhance processes, adopt new technologies, and improve project execution.
- Quality and Risk Management: Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as a bridge between engineering, clients, and internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Budget Management: Ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards.

People & Team Support: Collaborate with People Ops to guide talent development, nurture high-potential team members for future leadership roles, and address team concerns.
Managerial Responsibilities
- Task & Team Management: Break down project requirements into tasks, assign responsibilities, and track progress across developers, designers, and QA teams.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, motivate, and mentor team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Scrum & Agile Practices: Lead daily Scrum activities including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to maintain Agile discipline.
- Performance Management: Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct evaluations to support individual and team growth.

Project Initiation & Planning:
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, contribute to SRS documentation, wireframes, and storyboards, and ensure clarity before execution.
Operational Responsibilities
- Scope & Change Management:
Manage changes in scope or requirements for assigned projects, ensuring proper communication and alignment with stakeholders. - Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns proactively. - Engineering Quality & Standards: Enforce engineering best practices including code reviews, development standards, and technical governance to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to improve efficiency in development, testing, and deployment. Work with the team to resolve complex technical challenges and maintain project integrity.
- Monitoring & Metrics: Own sprint and project reporting, maintain delivery documentation and track engineering health metrics. Proactively monitor KPIs including CPI, SPI, budget variance, risks and mitigation strategies to drive transparency and delivery excellence.
