isn’t a document; it’s a design principle.
Bake it into your rituals—backlog, sprints, reviews—not after launch.

  1. Fairness
    Choose metrics that match the decision: demographic parity difference, equalised odds, or TPR parity. Be transparent about trade-offs: some criteria can’t be satisfied simultaneously, so prioritise and justify. What you optimise is what you get.

  2. Transparency
    Show people why an outcome happened. Pair global model summaries with per-decision reasons in plain English.

    Define “AI-ready” for your organisation: lineage, PII classification, quality thresholds, retention and access controls. Most value gaps trace back to shaky data.

    Governance fails without skills. Close the training gap with role-based tracks for product, data, compliance and CX.

A Real Story: Fintech trade-offs
