Technology Used
Project Overview
The client from WMC developed a secret system for creating an usable wardrobe — a unique dressing method that ensures success and clarity for even the most picky of fashionistas. WMC is a digital place and community with a broader aim to provide individuals with true, clear, and practical advice that can be applied in everyday life.
Business Problems
Business Problems
Both teams from WMC and EB Pearls studied research data that was collected from different types of users. Upon analysing data from interviews and surveys we came to a realisation that there was a larger audience wishing to gain insight into resolving fashion crazes and dressing for success while avoiding the stress.
Process
We used a number of situations to generate and test the concepts of this project, as well as a variety of exercises with the client. Additionally, we used pen and paper prototyping to add value to the creative process.
EB Pearls spent time learning about the project’s scope and the expected user path through several discussions. With this, we were able to design something that fit WMC’s vision for their app. EB Pearls was able to create designs that would bring users to the type of content they were seeking for by knowing the types of users. EB Pearls collaborated with WMC to develop a platform that met the needs of its customers.
Backlog Creation
A product backlog was built in order to ensure that none of the project’s user stories were missed and that the project ran smoothly and efficiently. This backlog contained all of the project’s to-do lists. It became easier for us to organise our sprints after we created an ultimate to-do list in our project management platform.
Backlog Grooming
The team refined the product backlog once it was generated to ensure that it covered all of the items that they would be prioritised. During this time,
-User stories that were not relevant were removed.
-New user stories were added.
– Assigned estimates to user stories
– User stories that were complex and high on the priority list were split into two groups.
- Community Board
In Community Board, a user is able to view the various posts posted by different users and interact with each post via like and comment. When a user taps on the heart icon on the post then the user’s like shall be added to the likes count and the heart icon colour shall be changed.
- Moodboard
The user is redirected to the moodboard, when s/he taps the moodboard icon in the bottom tab bar. A user can add a moodboard to the account. Adding a moodboard includes Adding title, image, and text.

Next Steps
After the website is developed, we regularly communicate with the clients and we are always available for future maintenance and are committed to ongoing support. Moreover, we are monitoring the features that have been released.
