Define Requirement
GER realized the need to update their website to encourage people to learn more about GER and to become more aware of it and find new sources of money and engage existing and new donors, partners, and supporters.
User Problems
User Problems
GER also wished to help promote other Australasian connectivity conservation initiatives, such as Gondwana Link. Another, major goal of the project was to increase national and international support for GER and connection conservation by emphasising the advantages to both nature and humans.
Business Problems
Business Problems
The current site failed to portray the scale and significance of GER and lacked the dynamic content and graphics required to effectively engage and attract users. A basic core component such as an online donation mechanism or a resource database is also absent in the website. GER required a new dynamic, engaging, and user-friendly website constructed on a strong and readily maintenance CMS system in order to effectively build their brand, raise awareness, and recruit new donors, partners, and sponsors.GER came to EB Pearls with the idea to redesign the website and EB Pearls created a one-of-a-kind design while maintaining a focus on user-friendliness.
Process
We used a range of scenarios, as well as a variety of activities with the customer, to build and evaluate app concepts. We also added value to the creative process by using pen and paper prototyping. A project workshop started the website redesign process. We tried to analyse the client’s requirements and adapted our concept accordingly. Furthermore, the website required numerous changes, and other issues had to be resolved during the process. Many evaluations were conducted, and problems were resolved early on by identifying conflicting expectations.
Backlog creation
Backlog creation
We also developed a prioritised agile backlog to make release and iteration planning easy. This broadcasted all the things the team plans to spend time on. Once the backlog was created, it was regularly maintained to keep pace with the project.
Backlog grooming
Backlog grooming
The product owner reviewed the backlog before every iteration plan meeting to confirm that prioritisation was right and feedback from the previous iteration has been monitored.
The entire team was involved in the process of defining user stories and following the work breakdown structure to prioritise core tasks. This process kept the team focused on the strategic trajectory of the product roadmap.

Design Sprint
Design Sprint
Our expert UI designers created a clean, modern, engaging, and visually appealing design. The navigation was basic and straightforward. The website now expresses the inclusive (people from all sectors working together) and empowering nature of GER’s work, as well as highlight the diversity of projects and organisations/people with whom they collaborate.
User Testing
User Testing
To test the features, each member of the testing team served as an end-user, and the GER team was also included in the testing process. We needed to pay attention to small things that could have been overlooked during development because they can have a notable impact on the redesign.

Unique Features
1. Easy Navigation
Our talented team of designers collaborated with the client to create a modern design and appeal to a wider audience. If you are looking for anything specific on the Gondwana Link website, you can easily click on a dropdown menu such as About us, Where work, What we do, Contact us, and so on.
2. Visually Appealing
The homepage of the website will captivate any users with the beautiful landscape view. With less use of text, our designers have used more white space so that users can easily find what they are looking for.

Learning
Learning
The Gondwana Link website redesign is a success. The first major version was produced on time and on budget. With EB Pearls, the website will be updated with new features and capabilities on a regular basis.
Next steps
Next steps
Once the app was launched, it reached on the hands of users and then we started receiving feedback. After that, we incorporated all the feedback into the next versions. The next steps to take is to look for the opportunity to resolve problems.
