User Problems
User Problems
The new look of the website introduced ASCP as a professional technical society that makes professional objective cases for concrete pavements. The updated site also makes a wide range of balanced, clear and related information about concrete pavements in Australia available.
The main objective of the project is to update its current website to match the level of professionalism with its functions and aesthetics. The new website of ASCP allows administrators to add new pages or new content and provides existing members with genuine utility.
Business Problems
Business Problems
The business problem this app tries to solve is that since they were not making money because of the outdated website, EB Pearls helped ASCP to increase conversions so that they can earn more money. Also, the updated website will help the company to improve business credentials to create a better corporate image. Ultimately, this will result in higher customer satisfaction.
Process
During the process of website development, product owners, developers, designers worked to discover ways to keep users engaged for a longer time. Besides, the website required a lot of changes and several issues had to be fixed during the process. Moreover, frequent reviews were done and issues were fixed by identifying mismatched expectations early.
Backlog creation
Backlog creation
Our team worked for in depth backlog management. It was also worth noting the items that we were working on within the two-week sprint. It helped us what was coming up so that the team planned and worked quickly in order to add new features.
Backlog grooming
Backlog grooming
Grooming the product backlog began with analysing the feedback collected from the clients. This resulted in adding, adjusting, design and workflow sketches and so on. This also allowed us to understand what tasks to prioritise and also to track the project progress.

Design Sprint
Design Sprint
Design sprint provided a list of things to do in an order. Each activity was completed in the given amount of time. This deadline actually created time pressure among the team to get things done. Besides, we had to ensure that the website rendered in an appealing way on mobile screens and tablets in order to increase new users.
User Usability Testing
User Usability Testing
The users were observed during the initial testing of the website that uncovered the opportunities to improve the overall user experience. We also focused on having easy navigation to reach the desired screen as well as prioritised on the uniformity of the screens.

Retrospective
Learning
Learning
We endeavoured our best to offer convenient results to our clients while developing the website. Since the website stores user data as well as handles payments using PayPal gateway and it is widely and geographically available with respectable load times. We were very focused in developing the website to secure against vandalism hacking, malware infection and backdoor attacks. So, we have learnt to create and keep the effortlessness of the product at its best with higher security, seamless response, and web interoperability.
